Alturas Ranches is a family-owned farming and ranching operation in Modoc County, California, solely owned by the Swenson Family. Purchased in 1996 (formerly Lyneta Farms), the ranch now farms and ranches on 55,000 acres, with 31,000 acres of hay, wildlife habitat, wild rice fields, and grazing ground. It produces local, natural beef and practices regenerative agriculture.
