Data held by the directory
Account data covers registered users: username, email address, and activity such as shortlists, saved searches, and quote requests. Inquiry data covers contact and listing submissions: name, business email, company, and message. Usage data covers anonymous analytics events used to measure search and profile performance.
How the data is used
Account and inquiry data are used to operate the directory: delivering quote requests to suppliers, verifying claims and takedown requests, and responding to messages. Usage data is used in aggregate to improve search quality. Personal data is not sold and is not shared with advertisers.
Retention
Account data is retained while the account is active. Inquiry and analytics records are retained for the period needed to operate and audit the directory, then deleted or anonymized.
Access and deletion
Requests for access, correction, or deletion of personal data can be sent through the contact page. Requests are answered within thirty days.
