Pacer Pumps, legally ASM Industries, Inc., manufactures self-priming thermoplastic centrifugal pumps in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1974 by Al Marlow as Orly Manufacturing and renamed ASM Industries in 1979, the company operates from a 60,000 sq ft facility and assembles roughly 30,000 pumps annually. Pumps are molded, hand assembled, pressure tested and flow tested on site, with plastic parts molded by its ISO 9001 certified subsidiary Polymar.
