Cendio AB was founded in 1992 by students from Linköping University and is one of the oldest open-source companies in the world. Since 2003 the company has been named Cendio AB, and its main focus is the self-developed open-source-based software ThinLinc, which helps organizations publish Linux desktops and applications. Cendio actively develops and maintains the open-source projects TigerVNC and noVNC, and contributes to others such as Pulse Audio and VirtualGL.
