Caribbean Metal Fabricators, Inc. was established in 1961 as a manufacturer of food service equipment and expanded in 1970 to service the pharmaceutical industry in Puerto Rico. The company specializes in custom-fabricated equipment, most made in stainless steel and aluminum, and in 2004 created a laser division with a Trumpf Laser 3030. It describes itself as one of the top stainless steel fabricating companies in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
