AASC develops affordable and reliable electric propulsion systems, including the MPT (Microwave Plasma Thruster), which creates thrust by ionizing and discharging a small fraction of a solid metallic puck fuel. The MPT operates with no warm-up time at a consistent 10μN/W, uses no fluids, valves, tanks or heaters, and requires no high static voltages (45V DC max).
