Flight Systems Inc. was co-founded in 1968 by Bob Shaffner and Robert York in Mechanicsburg, PA. As an approved NASA supplier, its equipment flew on the Apollo and Skylab missions. The company supplies new replacement parts and rebuilt electronic controls for generator sets, including regulators, start/stop controls, automatic switching controllers and engine monitors, and is an independent rebuilder of generator controls.
