Initial Impact was founded in 1984 by Dale and Donna Szakats as a wholesale contract embroidery company serving department stores, mail-order catalogs, and uniform shops. In 1987 it settled in Spring Lake, NJ, where it operates a showroom for corporate apparel and a retail store offering personalized gifts. The company provides in-house embroidery, screen printing, digital printing, and imprinted promotional products.
