Argenica Therapeutics Limited (ASX:AGN) is a clinical stage drug development company developing novel neuroprotective therapeutics to reduce brain damage after stroke and other acute brain injuries. Its lead candidate ARG-007, a cationic arginine-rich peptide, is based on research from The University of Western Australia and the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science. ARG-007 has completed a Phase 1 clinical trial and is being tested in a Phase 2 clinical trial in acute ischaemic stroke patients in Australia.
