Blue Urchin LLC is a small, mostly two-person shop that finds technological solutions to coastal hazards using computers. The team includes Wes Shaw, who brings over a decade of coastal hazards policy experience including a NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship, and Chris Rae, who has over two decades of coding history including work on the Excel team at Microsoft. They spend most of their time on MyCoast.org and work on other interesting projects.
