Brigham Hill Maple is a small, single-source maple syrup producer located on Brigham Hill, the highest point in Essex, Vermont. Owned and operated by Al and Kaitlyn Bushey, the operation taps roughly 3,000 trees on a 150-acre parcel of family land. Sap is concentrated with a solar-powered reverse osmosis machine and boiled over a traditional wood-fired evaporator, and every barrel of syrup is taste tested.
