Biomass Controls PBC is a Public Benefit Corporation based in Woodstock, Connecticut, founded in 2015 as part of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Reinvent the Toilet Challenge, with technology in field operation since 2014. It designs and manufactures the Biogenic Refinery, a decentralized pyrolysis platform for high-moisture biogenic feedstocks that converts manures, biosolids, food waste, and agricultural residues into pathogen-inactivated biochar, recoverable thermal energy, and MRV-grade operating data through its KELV°N platform.
