Automated Business Systems (ABS) is a Houston, Texas-based provider of money processing, check handling, document handling, and office equipment solutions for businesses throughout Texas and the United States. Founded in 1983 by Richard J. Braniff with his father James Jay Braniff, ABS began selling check signers, endorsers, and encoders and has grown into a distributor of banking and business equipment. The company is now owned by Rick's daughters, Emalee Crisler and Natalee Braniff.
