Astro Pak is a provider of passivation, precision cleaning, electropolishing, testing, and related metal surface treatment services. Since 1959 it has cleaned hardware and components for cleanliness-critical industries, operating the largest contract precision cleaning facility in the United States, with shops, field depots, and cleanroom facilities across North America. Its Ultra Pass® citric-acid-based passivation process is used to produce optimized passive layers on stainless steel.
