ASKA is developing the ASKA™ A5, a hybrid VTOL flying car with air and surface capabilities. The 4-seater vehicle has a full electric system with a range extender (lithium ion batteries plus engine), is roadworthy and SUV-sized in drive mode, offers flight range up to 250 miles, flight speed up to 150 mph, and supports VTOL and STOL. It holds an FAA Special Airworthiness Certificate, with FAA Type Certification in progress, and has been 8+ years in development.
