Founded by John Nolan, who invented the first swimming pool lift in 1980, the company formed as Aquatic Access Inc. in 1987. Their ADA-compliant lifts exceed requirements with armrests, 350-400 lb weight capacity, and seat belts. Water-powered lifts operate without batteries or electricity, using water pressure to raise and lower the seat.
