Applied Imagery was founded in 2004 in Silver Spring, MD to commercialize software developed at Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Lab. It develops Quick Terrain Modeler, a commercial off-the-shelf 3D point cloud and terrain exploitation software package designed for LiDAR and other 3D data sources, focused on DoD and civilian applications. The company is designated as a small business and is the sole source for Quick Terrain Modeler in the United States.
