AMPCO Safety Tools, originally the American Metal Products Company founded in 1914 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, manufactures non-sparking, non-magnetic, corrosion resistant hand tools. The company produced the first-ever line of aluminum bronze safety hand tools in 1922 and today manufactures most of its safety tools in Garland, Texas, with over 2200 standard styles and sizes plus custom manufacturing.
