Based in Rexburg, Idaho, AMET designs and produces its own control hardware and software, including DSP-based welding controls, and has produced over 500 advanced welding systems for industries including aerospace, defense, nuclear, oil and gas, power, and wind tower. In 2012 AMET received the American Welding Society's Image of Welding Award.
