Comprehensive Psychiatric Center is a private outpatient drug rehab center founded in 1979 by Dr. Roberto Ruiz, a psychiatrist and recipient of the Nyswander-Dole Award. It provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to opioid-dependent adults in a medically sound therapeutic setting, along with education and individualized drug counseling. The team includes additional physicians specializing in addiction, drug counselors, and support staff. CPC centers are licensed by DCF and DEA and accredited by JCAHO and SAMHSA.
