Phase3D was founded to advance the additive manufacturing industry by offering trusted part quality assurance technologies. Born out of research in structured light and digital fringe projection, Phase3D created a real-time, in-situ inspection system for additive manufacturing known as Fringe Inspection. The team is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and has grown to more than 20 engineers, developers, and support staff supporting a global customer base.
